JOIN THE MOVEMENT TO WIN UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE FOR PA
SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT SINGLE PAYER IN PENNSYLVANIA
This season may be our best opportunity to galvanize public opinion in favor of universal health care. It's a unique moment to promote our own Pennsylvania solution, the Family And Business Health Security Act Of 2009, currently in the legislature as HB1660 and SB400. These bills guarantee comprehensive universal single-payer health care for every man, woman, and child in the state. With your help, we can make them law.
To that end, we've made a simple downloadable KIT to share with neighbors and friends. We need people like you to spread the word that there is a better alternative to Governor Rendell's "Prescription for Pennsylvania" plan. Get as many signatures as you can urging members of the state legislature to support the Family And Business Health Security Act. Hand them a packet with information on the bill, the only proposed legislation that covers all Pennsylvanians. Leave them with one of our contribution forms so we can more effectively leverage our all-volunteer lobbying effort.
Encourage everyone to circulate the petition on their own. Get local: ask groups in your community to take part in this important effort. If we're going to win universal health care, our representatives in Harrisburg have to get a clear message of public support for it. With your help Pennsylvania will lead the way to real health care fairness in America.
